Omer Week 3, Day 15 (Chessed) and 16 (Gevurah) Omer walks within Tiferet. We found this quote from Sanford L. Dob helps: "...opposites reciprocally determine, and in effect, create one another, [this] is the central idea distinguishing "dialectical" from "linear" thought, and is one of the central themes in the Kabbalah. This idea is embodied in the concept of Tiferet, and it is for this reason that the Kabbalists identified Tiferet with Emet or absolute truth."
Our walks, as is so often the case, brought us to the Gulf of Mexico, where we came upon this scene of the instructor's Chessed (lovingkindness) of bringing his students out into the water on a hot day, his gevurah of maintaining structure and theirs for staying in the learning, and the beautiful Tiferet (balance / beauty) attained. And the image is also good for the upcoming Israel Independence Day, the ability to protect oneself and one's countryrepresented by the martial arts in the image, seems appropriate. Of course, there are many other important approaches to survival towards peace.
As the sun sets we are entering Omer Day 17 in our time zone: Tiferet within Tiferet.
